Entry visas are required for participants except for:

  • * participants from ECOWAS member countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Togo.
  • * Participants from the following countries : Central African Republic, Republic of Congo (Brazzaville), Morocco, Mauritania, Chad, Tunisia,
  • * Participants from the following countries, holders of diplomatic, service or official passports: South Africa, Austria, Brazil, Gabon, Israel, Iran, Uganda.

Participants have three options to obtain their entry visa:

  • * Procedures to be carried out with embassies and consulates of Côte d’Ivoire
  • * E-visa procedure on the site to start at least 48 hours before the departure to Côte d’Ivoire

  • * Visa on arrival

To benefit from the facilities related to Visa for Côte d’Ivoire, there are 3 options:

  • * Option 1: Procedures to be carried out with embassies and consulates of Côte d’Ivoire
  • * Option 2: E-visa (Snedai)
  • * Option 3: Visa on arrival

OPTION 1: Procedures to be carried out with embassies and consulates of Côte d’Ivoire

The application must be sent directly to the Embassy of Côte d'Ivoire from applicant’s place of residence.

The visa application must include the following documents:

  • * A valid passport (at least 06 months) ;
  • * The visa application form with two passport pictures ;

  • * The useful pages of the passport ;

  • * A certificate of accommodation and any other papers or documents that the Embassy deems necessary.
The fee is 60 euros.

OPTION 2: E-visa procedure (Snedai)

Côte d'Ivoire has instituted for several years the requirement to obtain a biometric visa for travellers wishing to visit the country.

The e-visa procedure is done in two stages. First, the payment of the e-visa (73 euros) must be done on the dedicated website ( Some information must be provided online at that stage. (Passport identity page, attestation of plane ticket reservation, accommodation certificate or invitation letter).

Bring a pre authorization copy received by email to get your biometric visa upon arrival at Abidjan airport.

Note : The response time required for the an e-visa is at least 48 hours before departure scheduled Côte d’Ivoire.

OPTION 3: Visa on arrival

Please indicate to the airport of Abidjan (AERIA) your presence at the event, by providing the following documents:

  • * A copy of a valid passport (including surname, first name, nationality, passport number, issue date)

  • * A copy of the flight indicating your arrival date
AERIA will send a collective VISA letter (NOT-nominative) written by the Territorial Surveillance Office and accompanied by a list of names including yours. This letter must be presented on your arrival at the airport, it will allow you to complete the procedure and proceed to the payment (31 euros / 20.500FCFA).
Your passport will be kept in exchange for a receipt which will allow you to collect your passport with the visa in the following days.

Transportation from the airport to the hotels is provided by the host airport.

Transportation from the proposed hotels to the venue of the General Assembly (Sofitel Hotel Ivoire) and vice versa is also provided by the host airport.

Transfer to other hotels is the responsibility of the participants.

Vaccination against yellow fever and the presentation of an international vaccination certificate are mandatory for entry into Ivorian territory. Vaccination can be done upon arrival at the airport.

Malaria is widespread in the tropical zone. For this reason, taking preventive treatment and wearing covering clothes at sunrise and dusk is recommended.
